AION 2 Founder's Pack Guide: 24.99 vs 49.99 vs 99.99

The three prices: Standard USD 24.99, Deluxe 49.99, Ultimate 99.99.

The shared contents are identical: five days of early access (September 30 to October 4, 2026), one Daeva’s Campaign Supply Chest, the unique title “Vanguard of Atreia”, and 30 days of Special Quai membership.

Everything above Standard is cosmetics. There is no power in any tier.

Where the tiers differ

Prices and contents come from NC America’s official press release on July 22, 2026. Sales opened the same day on Steam and PURPLE.

Local currency prices drift with exchange rates. At the time, the eurozone sat around EUR 21.25 / 42.49 / 84.99.

What the 30 days of membership is worth

The 30-day membership was added to every Founder’s Pack on August 19, 2026. NC listed what it does:

• Remote storage
• Personal trading
• Wind Breeze merchants
• Higher Odyle Energy cap
• The Market (auction house)
• The Quna exchange shop
• More Odyle Energy Cube selections in Expedition, Transcendence and Sanctuary

Here is the part people miss: the Market and the Kina-to-Quna exchange require an active membership.

So the membership in the pack is not just convenience. It is the precondition for buying and selling anything in your first month. The full monetization structure is on the membership and monetization breakdown.

Who should buy, who should skip

Buy Standard or Deluxe if you want the day-one head start, or you genuinely like those two skins. The line between them is how much you want the armour and weapon skins.

Buy Ultimate only if you want all three extras: the Moonlit Aria armour set, the Black Dragon pet and the gold Blazing Sun Wings. Wanting one or two of them does not justify another USD 50.

Skip if you only want to play free to play, you do not care about five days, or you do not want to be inside the early-access server economy in week one.

That last one has a real basis. To stop early entrants from cornering the economy, NC keeps early-access markets and matchmaking separate from the launch servers for a period. Not buying can genuinely be the calmer choice.

Steam or PURPLE

Three rules to get straight first.

1. One pack per account. The official wording: “Players are limited to one purchase per account and may only purchase one of the three tiers once, so choose carefully!”
2. The pack is locked to the platform. Bought on Steam, used on Steam. Same for PURPLE.
3. Only PURPLE offers upgrades. PURPLE sells Standard-to-Deluxe for USD 25, Standard-to-Ultimate for 75 and Deluxe-to-Ultimate for 50 - exactly the tier price difference. Steam has no announced upgrade path.

So: if you are unsure about going all in and want the option to pay the difference later, PURPLE keeps that door open. If you care more about platform features and automatic updates, Steam is fine, but decide the tier up front.

Still subject to change

When NC published the business model it noted “some areas may change as our preparation for launch continues”.

The exact contents of the supply chest have never been itemised. This page does not guess them. Prices, promotions and pack contents are all moving data. The prices above are as of September 18, 2026.
